In mid-2023 four adorable Tasmanian devil joeys joined the Australian Reptile Park family with the joeys ready to take the next step in their journey. The joeys originally were bred at the Park’s sister conservation organisation Aussie Ark as a part of their breeding program. Now that the joeys are growing confidence to be independent, Sam, Messi, Charlie and Lola are joining their new home in the Tasmanian devil exhibit at the Australian Reptile Park.

In a heartwarming moment, Mammals Keepers Lauren Hunter and Seleena de Gelder gave each of the joeys a cuddle before releasing them into their new surroundings. With rising confidence, the joeys wasted no time in exploring their new home, eagerly taking in the unfamiliar sights and smells.
