It’s that time of year again! Christmas!! And what does Christmas bring with it?! DSS Secret Santa! Honestly, it’s become one of my favourite Christmas traditions since joining, because it’s a promise of an abundance of amazing videos – what’s not to like about that?!
You know that saying “less is more”? Yeah, well, sometimes more is more … as you can tell by the length of this video. It got a little out of hand, idk how it happened.

Originally I wanted to make a multicrossover video with some of the specific pairings you’d put on your wishlist, but my eyes just kept going to Arthur’s name under the category *Characters I would die to see* and I just couldn’t stop myself from using him and hopefully you won’t despise me too much for pairing him with someone who didn’t appear on your wishlist at all …
I had a really hard time coming up with a song – especially once I realised that the amount of scenes I’d made would mean a video which was AT LEAST 3:30 in length. I ended up going with this one, because it kind of fit with the mood I was going for and you’d suggested it for a collab at some point, so I made the assumption that you don’t hate it.
It’s not at all what I imagined making for you but nonetheless I hope you will enjoy it at least as much as I enjoyed making it – cause I really did!
I feel like the video explains the story pretty well, but I might be biased, so just in case here’s a little summary:
Arthur and Henry are brothers. Arthur is next in line to the throne. The king wants Arthur to marry a queen (for the alliance obviously) meanwhile Henry has been engaged to Princess Mary since childhood. Arthur and Mary have always been friends but over time they fall in love with each other, however the king won’t allow Arthur to marry her, because she’s “just” a princess and not a queen. Meanwhile Henry notices their growing feelings towards one another and does what he can to come between them and keep Mary to himself …
I was actually intending to have Daenerys be a bigger part of the story, but I ended up demoting her to a background character because the video would have been much much longer if I’d included more of her story. I also considered ending the video with Mary killing either the king or Henry but felt like that was a bit too drastic, so I went with the “softer” ending.
