UPDATE: Adobe has reversed its decision. Adobe Animate will continue to be available for everyone. I still plan to learn something new. Blender and Tahoma2D are first.

ORIGINAL:
Beginning March 2026, no more Adobe Animate (Flash). In 2027 the app will be obliterated from existence and all projects ever made in it unable to be opened.

Adobe took my money and THEN discontinued its animation software.

I don't even know what to say.

My first program was Photoshop CS3 on a CD-Rom. I actually had boxed copies of Flash (Animate) and Photoshop. When I sold those to upgrade to Creative Cloud, none of us had any idea we were headed into a world of monthly subscriptions.

And now this. Now nothing.
