In this short, I show a simple way to add hair highlights in Adobe Animate using the Eyedropper + Brush Tool. The trick is to lock everything except the hair, sample your base hair color, then brighten/darken it and paint in quick highlight shapes that follow the hair’s curves.
Workflow:
Lock all layers except Hair
Eyedropper the hair color
Adjust the color (slightly brighter/lighter)
Use the Brush Tool to paint highlights that match the hair’s curvature
