In the final lesson of this course, we take the completed rig and animate a full character performance in Adobe Animate—then polish it and export a finished MP4.
We’ll cover the full workflow:
Setting up the stage with a background for scene context
Duplicating the rig to create reusable action symbols (stand vs jump)
Creating motion tweens and refining arcs/timing for a convincing jump + landing
Adding recoil, subtle body posing, and “acting” during dialogue
Animating the face (head turn, eyes, brows) and adding blinks
Importing audio, setting it to Stream, and doing lip sync with mouth poses
Swapping hand poses (relaxed/fist/point) while keeping parenting intact
Polishing with hair overlap fixes, simple hair follow-through, and light squash & stretch
Exporting video from Animate CC and compressing via Adobe Media Encoder (H.264)
✅ Course Playlist (all parts):
youtube.com/playlist?list=PL75fjdmpFwHEjwaQfC5FEat0OPXNFA3_f
If you want the full course at once (plus work files), this course is also available on Udemy.
What you’ll learn in this video
How to build a short animated scene using motion tweens + parenting
How to lip sync efficiently with a symbol-based mouth switch
How to add blinks, small facial beats, and subtle secondary motion
How to export a clean MP4 workflow using Media Encoder
