On August 31st, 1986, the Soviet cruise liner Admiral Nakhimov was struck by the freight ship Pyotr Vasev in the Black Sea. She sank in just 7 minutes. This animation recreates, in real time, the sinking of the Admiral Nakhimov, marking 40 years since the sinking.
