Breda based Fonk Recordings, run by esteemed DJ/producer Dannic, have revealed their exclusive ‘ADE 2017 EP’ ahead of the one of the biggest annual events in dance music, showcasing some brand-new music coming from a range of already established artists as well as up-and-coming producers, in typical Fonk Recordings fashion, giving new, talented producers the platform to release the funkiest records around.
Track one of the new EP comes from the Italian duo Promise Land, who set the bar high from the get-go with the enigmatic ‘3-angle’. Promise Land are used to funky sounds and progressive groove, and after gaining extensive support over the years from the likes of Hardwell, Tiesto and Sander Van Doorn, as well as producing exquisite remixes for some of dance music’s biggest names, such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Swedish House Mafia, the two manage to combine their typical, unique style with that huge renegade masta vocal for the first banger on this FONK ADE EP.
The second track, coming from Kuaigon, Yeary & VITIZE gathers momentum with a more progressive sound. The anthemic yet volatile ‘Up’ is a collaboration coming from a group of very talented up-and-coming producers, who have each gathered support from leading dance music DJ’s like Steve Angello, Blasterjaxx, Tiesto & Dannic. ‘UP’ hits listener’s progressive leads and euphoric vocal chops before revealing a deadly big-room drop that will leave fans in a frenzy. Hard hitting sounds follow for the third instalment of FONK’s ADE EP with epic ‘The Flow’ from another Italian Mark Noize collaborating with KEVS for this bass driven record, that utilises heavy synths and rising progressions whilst maintaining that leading FONK groovy sound.
The grooviness continuous from another artist who’s gathering a lot of attention, as Pessto and his track ‘Love’ uses old school sounds with funky beats followed by yet another huge drop providing FONK fans with yet another banger. Pesto returns to FONK after the recent release of his undeniable anthem ‘Bamo’ brought him into the limelight, having already had music supported by the likes of Nicky Romero, Afrojack & more. The final track makes an everlasting impact with WE AM & Boothed providing the EP’s swan song with ‘Buckeroo’. WE AM return as FONK regulars alongside Boothed who make their impressive FONK Recordings debut here with this dancefloor destroyer which all together highlights this EP as one not to be missed.

The title of the first track and the EP are commanding you to dance. As the impeccable production of this EP that contains 3 perfect tools to shake the dancefloor.
Dannic is a big fan of the early 90s rave house and techno music, and he beautifully blended those sounds in this EP.
The first track “Baila is an evolution of Dannic’s sound. He wanted to give the listeners some ‘ear candy’ to switch up the lead. The second track ‘Keep It Going’ has the same vibes in a more house language. It was a highly demanded track in Dannic’s recents livestreams. And the third and last track of this EP is ‘Pump It Up’ which is all about acid and grooviness. Also Dannic says that it can be a perfect track to get it going in the gym!
