ADE 2010 CAPP Records exclusive interview with the leader of Jumpstyle; Patrick Jumpen
- The only Jumper who hit the charts and the stage with his own music.

- The only person whose Jumpstyle-videos have pulled over 40 million viewers worldwide
Even though modesty is not in his vocabulary, others lack superlatives to describe him. The press likes to call him the "The World's best Jumper", "Jump Guru", "Jump King of Holland", etc. Fact is that 21 year old Patrick Mantizz from the Netherlands gained immense popularity in no time when he combined his 2 greatest hobbies: creating music and making video's for Youtube.
His Jump-Tutorials taught a whole generation how to Jump, his Jump style is commonly accepted as the standard, his music became the ultimate soundtrack and with his immense group of followers Patrick Jumpen is now seen as one of the creators of the reality responsible for the explosive growth Jump has experienced.
With his debut single entitled "Holiday", Patrick managed to reach the Dutch singles charts top 10 without any outside marketing and support by radio or TV .
When the single was debuted on Dutch radio, it was already high and dry in the top 5: purely on its own strength, exposed only through the Internet. As undisputed authority when it comes to Jump-Tutorials, a DVD was the obvious next step: " Jumpen Doe Je Zo!" ("Jump: How-To!") was released in the Dutch, French and German territories and sold over 80.000 copies. (The Dutch version sold 50.000 copies in the Netherlands within the first three weeks of release, reaching the gold status.)
Patrick knew that his Fans wanted more than just his Jumpstyle moves and decided to release a second Single called "The Secret" and reached 13 in the Singles Charts. Both music video's ("Holiday and "The Secret") have over 4 million hits on YouTube, each.
In 2008 Patrick moved to Germany and after a short musical break of 12 months (to raise his audio production skills), he signed a new contract with "Ministry of Sound Recordings Germany" to release new music on their sub-label "Sushi Tunes". The 3rd Patrick Jumpen single "Solis Invicti", a collaboration with Germany's most influent and successful Jump-act "Springstil" is just out and in the first month of the release of the music video it has already been watched over 100,000 times. Patrick's 3rd single is even featured on one of Germany's most trendsetting compilation albums : Viva Club Rotation! (Vol. 43)
Now, Patrick Jumpen is not your everyday DJ, when Patrick Jumpen is behind the decks it isn't strange to find him half of the time in front of it! He often lets his right-hand "DJ Dio" take control of the decks in order to host a Jump Contest, to learn clubbers how to move and when the possibility is there to even gives a little state of the art Jump-Showcase himself!
Patrick has performed practically every way you can think of! He has performed in Football Stadiums, including in the grounds of his favourite club "PSV Eindhoven", big festivals like the Amsterdam "Queens Day Event" in which 200,000 people went totally crazy! But, it's not just the festivals and clubs that found Patrick Jumpen, also the most wide type's of events! Like a Microsoft Seminar, the inauguration of a Sports Hero, 8,000 Rockers on Lowlands, the Mayor of Antwerp's yearly People's Ball and even the recruiting day of the Marine!
