MESSAGE OVERVIEW
Life can change without warning. One moment, things seem to be moving forward, and the next, you are dealing with loss, disappointment, betrayal, or a situation you never chose. Through the story of Joseph, Josiah DeRoos explores the tension between what life adds and what it takes away—and what it means to trust God when the hardships keep coming. Joseph was betrayed by his family, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison, yet one truth remained: the Lord was with him. This message is for anyone who has reached the end of their strength and cannot make sense of what is happening. You may not receive an immediate answer to why you are suffering, but you can know who is present with you. Jesus is Emmanuel—God with us—and through the cross, He offers forgiveness in place of guilt, hope in place of despair, freedom in place of bondage, and life where there seemed to be no future.
