Today in my 52 Weeks Scrapbooking Project, we’re taking the final step for this story by installing Layout 6 into the album.
This layout documents my February 1st afternoon hike at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden and along the Johnson Creek Trail here in Portland, Oregon. Over the past two videos we created both sides of the layout using the Weekend Adventures Scrapbooking Workshop Kit, and today we place those pages into the album where the story becomes part of the bigger journey.
One of my favorite moments in the scrapbooking process is this step — sliding the finished pages into the album. It’s the moment when photos, journaling, and creativity come together and the memory becomes part of a lasting story.
Scrapbooking each week allows me to capture the details while they are still fresh:
• where I went
• what I experienced
• how the moment felt
By documenting these hikes and everyday adventures, I’m creating a record of my life that I’ll be able to revisit for years to come.
In today’s video we will:
• Install Layout 6 into the scrapbook album
• Review the finished double-page spread
• Reflect on the February 1st hike
• Continue building the 52 Weeks Scrapbooking album
Each layout becomes another chapter in the story of a year of adventures.
Follow the full 52 Weeks Scrapbooking Series where I document hikes, everyday moments, and life adventures one layout at a time.
