In hindsight I should have picked a brighter thumbnail 🤭
Anyways. Today's subject is: ways to connect things to the front of your patchbay without messing with the patchbay hierarchy.
But why would you want that? Well for starters it can look a lot cleaner and it makes it very easy to add gear to your rack temporarily without having to get behind your rack.
The downside is that it adds more cable in the loop and an extra connector. But I haven't experienced any increase in noise to be honest.
This video is definitely aimed to the hobbyist though =)
