Here's a timelapse video of an actual process of adding details in Photoshop. I had designed flat shapes in Adobe Illustrator, then I exported the file as a psd. In Photoshop I use brushes to add textures and interesting strokes to enhance the composition via Clipping Masks over the shapes. This way, I can always edit easily all my files, add or remove anything I don't like (READ MORE BELOW)
