Hi, I'm not dead! :D Just been a bit preoccupied with other stuff. I'm having a gaming and digital art phase right now lol. I also, sort of recently, decided to try switching from Sony Vegas to After Effects for FX editing because it seemed to give me more options for effects that are a bit annoying to pull off in Vegas. The first 3 parts of this collection are my first official FX parts done only with ae, from newest to oldest. Turns out ae compositions are so much more nicer to work with than my usual 100+ Sony Vegas layers ... hehe
Will still stick to SV for RAW editing though probably
This collection isn't too long because learning a new program has slowed down my editing speed a little but I've been having lots of fun trying out new things and I have some personal projects planned with it as well!
OH BTW if anyone knows some nice ae tutorial channels for typography, transitions, effects or other cool stuff that can be done in ae please feel free to share! I've been looking around for some but I could definitely use some more tutorials. It's still a bit overwhelming to have different names for certain effects and sometimes I can't find them because of it so tutorials help a ton. xD

why is it that whenever a character grows on me they die or get injured

What better day is there than today for a part collection to reflect on my progress this year. I havent had much but Ive been trying to be less lazy about effects in parts. Ive also wanted to try to fix my bad fx keyframing and get it to look a little smoother. Havent fully managed that yet but Ive taken some steps towards it I feel? I really wanted to upload this because I actually tried to do something new with adding other anime backgrounds or actual ingame background to pics. Ive done it before but I never tried for this type of song and theme and I actually like the result.
For the hospital pillar Mikan is laying on I actually played the game scene out (AND WENT THROUGH THE ASSLONG TALKING AND THE I SHOULD INVESTIGATE THIS ROOM FIRST TORTURE) until I was able to walk around the hospital to find a good spot that would work with the picture to make it appear as if that one and the one following are happening at the same place.
