Ever wondered how to add some more "eastern" or exotic flavours to your guitar playing? In this lesson we're doing just that! I break down two scales used by Tim Reynolds in his song "Scarab" - the Gamanashrama scale and the Double Harmonic scale.

I got asked by a Patreon member to tab out Scarab, and while working through it I realised there were two distinct exotic-sounding scales at play. So instead of just tabbing it, I thought I'd break both scales down and share the video here so you can add that eastern flavour to your own playing! Enjoy!
