How to add the root of your macOS drive into the sidebar favourites in Finder. This is useful if you regularly access files other than simple applications and software such as video or audio plugins.
I cover how to do this in the first 30 seconds of the video. However, if you want a little more detail, watch to the end. I have also listed the steps below for those who are looking for solution in a video yet don't actually want to watch something and will cleverly list the steps in the comments proclaiming 'saviour' status for the rest of the community. You know who you are.
Step 1: Highlight Finder
Step 2: Press Cmd+Shift+G
Step 3: Enter '/' in the Goto Window
Step 4: Double Click to open the root in Finder
Step 5: Click and drag the root into your Sidebar
