Making a set of vintage watch hands by applying faux patina to them! We'll outline three methods of aging a set of watch hands without needing to relume or apply a new lume to them. Each method provides a different type of patina, each suitable for different application of vintage mod.
This is the second part in the new series of guides on making an aged watch mod. The aging mod series will proceed with one video detailing the process of one particular watch component. Previously we have aged the lume indices on a watch dial, and in next we’ll begin aging the exterior of the watch. Stay tuned!
