Add sand to caulking to match heavier sandy stucco textures.

Folks, you want to keep cracks in stucco caulked so that many years of rain won't deteriorate your existing paper.
Why? If the paper gets wet often enough, it will become brittle and rot out.
Is this a big deal? Of course it is. As water enters your stucco walls can cause some serious wood damage, resulting in very costly repairs to your exterior walls nd even insulation and sheetrock. Plus, rotting exterior walls can cause mold in your home. That's not good for too many reasons to mention here. Inhaling mold can give you flu-like symptoms. Just because you can't see mold doesn't mean it's not there. You can't see COVID or religion either. Thus, stay safe. And keep your cracks in your stucco walls caulked.

This is not spreading fear but instead spreading common sense.Or intelligence.
