Today we announced Blackmagic Camera 9.6 update for Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2, which adds support for video monitoring and touchscreen control with Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor. This makes it easier to frame and focus shots, as well as change camera settings. The PYXIS monitor is easy to set up as it connects to the Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 with a single USB-C cable. That’s video, power and camera control all from a single cable!
In addition, this update adds support for toggling 3D LUTs on the SDI output on Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 so you can quickly switch between viewing the original image and one with the LUT applied. This makes is easy to compare the effect of different LUTs so you can make adjustments or decide which one works best for the image.
