"Written during a difficult period of Adam's relationship with Marin, Adam wrote A Trip to Paris to emphasize to himself everything he knew he would lose if the relationship went sour. This only helped him fight harder to get out of the hardship they were facing.
It not only proved to be an intimate love song, but it became a sort of lighthouse to their relationship. Adam ended up writing some of the lyrics into his wedding vows to show how much of an impact it made on him."
