My 9th completion on GoldenEye's Silo level on 007 mode (Dark Licence to Kill settings) using the Enemy Health 1000%, Enemy Damage 1000%, Enemy Accuracy 100%, Enemy Reaction Speed 100% settings.
This is only the third completion to be done with two grenades and it's the first time that the ending has been completed without a grenade. These are some notes about the run:
- The start could have been better as I was well behind my normal pace up to the second and third grenade guards.
- The middle section of the level went well and I was on sub 7 minute pace but then it started to go badly at the end of the third fuel room. The first guard there was really quick coming downstairs and I wasn't ready for him. I like to stun him on the stairs to allow the guards at the back to catch up which increases the chances of all four guards dying in the explosion.
- The silver crates section was slow. I was slow getting started on all three of the grenade guards. The front guard went a long way left which made him a bit awkward to hit and I couldn't see whether he'd pulled a grenade or not.
- I had to do the ending without a grenade which is much slower. The guards are quick to get to the corner when you're doing the lure there so you have to hope that you can get back to safety before the guards kill you, which they sometimes will. There's about a 50% chance that the patrolling guard around the next corner will hear you but he wasn't on this run so I had to go back and lure him separately which lost me a lot of time.
- The rest of the run was good after that.
