I can honestly say that the days leading up to my first Zoom show two weeks ago were filled with many feelings of uncertainty. The idea of being able to really sustain the attention of an audience via a screen seemed almost impossible. Little did I imagine that this would become one of my most memorable and unique shows ever. The unexpected highs that were reached as people across the globe joined me, each with their own enthusiasm and love for music. A few of the many highlights was a gentleman from Hawaii who was watching the show from his bicycle as he rode home, the amazing Japanese dancer who checked into the show from New York and elegantly danced her way through every song, the 9 year old bass student from Australia who woke up especially to watch the show with his parents at 5 am in the morning! These are but a few of the magical insights into what made this show so special and the most exciting thing about it is that no one show will be the same. Each show the audience are invited to make music requests and ask whatever questions they want - something that rarely happens live during a show.
For those of you who missed the last show due to limited space - I recommend you sign up asap since each show will be limited ticket sales to keep it intimate. The entry is based on a pay-what-you-want basis. Pay anywhere from 1 dollar to 'I’m-feeling-generous-today'.
