Have you ever had to lane into Heimerdinger toplane? It is so annoying to deal with. His turrets and long range poke make for a suffer-fest of a laning phase. But did you know that one champion actually counters him very well once you reach level 6? That's right, Renata Glasc can turn his turrets against him with her ultimate. Although Renata Glasc top may seem like a troll pick, it is actually surprisingly fine into some match ups. Her E is a shield ability that also pokes and goes through minions, so its an excellent trading tool. Her Q is a very helpful disengage ability if you are getting ganked. And if the enemy jungler and toplaner decide to dive you? Well her spells make for a VERY risky dive. You can Q one under turret, put your W on yourself and let the ultimate rip under tower and most players are not prepared for that. Her weakness as a toplaner? Low damage, hard last-hitting, and of course your allies will flame you and rage on you for no reason. But into certain champions or team comps that have a lot of on-hit damage or champs with summons (Zyra, Heimer, Yorick, Ivern, Annie, etc) she can be a suprsingly effective counter pick.
