Ad Patres, the French death metal band hailing from Bordeaux, has marked nearly two decades of existence.
In 2010, the band released their first promo EP, featuring three intense and brutal tracks that drew inspiration from death metal giants like Morbid Angel and Suffocation. The EP laid the foundation for their unique sound, blending classic death metal standards with modern influences.
After its first full-length offspring "Scorn Aesthetics" in 2012, the band quickly gained recognition for their brutal and uncompromising approach to death metal.
The band is known for a style that seamlessly oscillates between melodic elements and unbridled aggression. Rejecting a calculated approach, Ad Patres focuses on crafting music that resonates with their personal tastes, involves meticulous refinement, and undergo extensive rehearsal.
Describing their sound as clean, direct, and devoid of unnecessary frills, they aim for a music experience that is unequivocally "in your face."
Following it’s 2019 release "A Brief Introduction to Human Experiments", the band is now ready to father it's new ill conception.
Ad Patres will release its new album "Unbreathable" in 2024 through Non Serviam Records. Main composer Olivier's clear vision shaped the album. Fostering a suffocating and claustrophobic atmosphere, the album seamlessly integrates new technical horizons with the band’s signature sound, resulting in a work of heightened accomplishment.

Keiser was formed by drummer Geir Johansen and guitarist/vocalist Mikael Torseth in 2015 with the aim of making a unique brand of extreme metal together. This quickly resulted in the raw and primitive Ascension of Ghouls EP in 2016. The urge to do something bigger and more epic emerged soon after, and they started working on their debut album.
The Succubus was recorded in a week and was mixed and mastered by Johansen himself, and the band released The Succubus themselves in 2017 in true DIY fashion. This was a turning point for the band, as Johansen and Torseth were joined by guitarist William Aamodt and bassist Oddbjørn Haugen in the months before The Succubus was released. This enabled the band to start playing live and they soon built a small, but loyal following in the middle region of Norway.
Later in 2017, Haugen and the band parted ways and the band were joined by current bassist Jon Einar Hektoen. In late 2018, the band started to write and record a second album, their first album as a four-piece band. Instead of doing it as quickly and effectively as with The Succubus, the band decided to spend more time writing, recording and mixing to get the best result possible. The album is now finished, and the band can’t wait to release it.

EMBRACED BY DARKNESS
Forged in the cold Dutch underground, Embraced by Darkness emerged some winters ago with the intent to channel the raw essence of Black Metal into a furious yet melodic storm. Their sound blends relentless aggression with haunting atmospheres, weaving in shades of Death Metal to create a distinct and uncompromising style.
In 2022, the band released its first EP, MMXXII, during the height of the pandemic. Despite the challenges of the time, the release resonated with fans worldwide, surpassing 50,000 streams on Spotify and establishing Embraced by Darkness as a rising force in the extreme metal underground.
Carrying that momentum forward, the band entered Armageddon Studio in 2023/2024 to record their first full-length album, Ex Inferis. Produced by Anders Backelin (Lord Belial / Vassago / Trident), the album captures the band at its most ferocious and focused. Consisting of twelve tracks, Ex Inferis is a testament to raw blackened violence, exploring lyrical themes of destruction, the fall of false prophets, and devotion to the dark path.

Neolith is a Death/Black metal band from Poland. Neolith’s music could originally be characterized as Death/Doom metal, and later evolved into brutal and dark Death/Black metal with some Thrash metal elements.
Neolith’s beginnings date back to 1991. Their debut album Igne Natura Renovabitur Integra (“INRI”) was recorded in 1998 in the Manek Studio (produced by Arek Malta Malczewski; Behemoth, Decapitated, Azarath), and was released by Dogma Rec. “INRI” received enthusiastic reviews in the press worldwide, and Neolith subsequently played several concerts in Poland and abroad. The readers of Horna magazine voted the album one of the most important albums in the history of the Polish metal.
Following the release, Neolith’s line up changed and the band started working on the next album, “Immortal“, which was also recorded at the Manek Studio. The material on “Immortal” differed significantly from earlier recordings – it was more brutal and darker, with highly noticeable progressive and technical elements. Following the release of “Immortal” by Flaming Arts Rec. in 2004, Neolith played, among others, tours with Behemoth, Devilyn, Diamanthian, and Maple Cross (Finland), and played on festivals such as Metalmania, Metal Heads Mission (Crimea/Ukraine), Jalometalli (Finland), and Merciless East.
On February 18, 2008, the band’s drummer Fil tragically died. Shortly thereafter, Neolith returned to the studio (Screw Factory) to record “Individual Infernal Idimmu“ with producer Jan Bryt (Vader, Destruction). This new album was released by Psycho Rec. in 2010, and again received very positive reviews. Following the release, the band played a number of concerts, including a tour with Svart Crown (France).
In 2013/2014 Neolith recorded the new album “IZI.IM.KURNU-KI“ (English: “Fire. Wind. Hell“).
The album was recorded in three studios and mastered in the Zed Studio by Tomasz Zalewski.
The new album will be released by Non Serviam Records in early 2015.
