In this interview, I sit down with actress Laura Marano and director Jesse V. Johnson to discuss their new survival thriller Above and Below and the challenges that came with bringing this intense story to life.
The film puts its characters in an extreme environment where survival depends on their ability to overcome both physical and emotional obstacles. With much of the story taking place underwater, the production presented a unique set of challenges for the cast and crew, from performing underwater sequences to creating convincing performances and sound after filming.
