Keep an eye on your car – with the My BMW App.
If your BMW is equipped with the optional Alarm System, your vehicle can send push notifications with video footage to your My BMW App.
From now on, when the anti-theft alarm goes off, your vehicle cameras will start recording automatically, and you will receive a push notification in the My BMW App.
There you can see all triggered recordings, marked with the location of your car and the alarm time as well as a map view of the incident location and a list of the available camera recordings.
The “Exterior Anti-Theft Recorder” is part of the optional Parking Assistant Plus or Parking Assistant Professional.
The Anti-Theft Recorder also works with the optional Interior Camera, which provides videos of the interior when the alarm system is triggered.
