Welcome Everyone to - PICK MY POUR- Season 3 Episode 15 - in this video you have chosen the Party Vibes #2 color pallet with Pouring Over Lego Bricks Style painting. This acrylic pouring technique is fun, easy, and perfect for artists of all levels and this color pallet is mesmerizing and wonderful. We will be running silly item themed pours all month long.
Fluid Art is a fantastic way to unleash your creativity and produce stunning abstract paintings. It’s also incredibly satisfying and relaxing. Watch the video and follow along as I guide you through these exciting techniques.
In this tutorial, I use a beautiful color palette including brilliant purple (Liquitex), diozaxine purple (Liquitex), quinacridone magenta (Liquitex), fluorescent orange (Liquitex), and mars black (shuttle art). These colors create a dynamic effect on the canvas. Feel free to use your favorite colors, but I recommend incorporating some pearlized or metallic paints for added shine and contrast.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Acrylic Paints
Pouring Medium
Plastic Cups
Stir Sticks
Canvas 10x10
1 cake spinner
Lego bricks
MIXING INFO:
80/20 pouring medium (80% Floetrol- 20% Water)
Paints are mixed 2 parts Pouring Medium to 1-part Paints
3 Fluid ounces of each color
15 fluid ounces in total
PICK MY POUR voting begins Saturday Afternoon for color pallets and Sunday Afternoon for Pouring Style. Voting will close Monday Evening So I can create the painting and have time for it to dry, that way I can include both the wet and dry version in the video.
