Here we show how to take GNSS on a Raspberry Pi from basic positioning to true RTK level accuracy and make it fully mobile.
If you have not watched Part 1 yet, start there to learn how to connect a Raspberry Pi to the GNSS Flex system before moving on to RTK corrections and mobile operation in this video: youtu.be/Mu4nujXDhxY
You will learn how to:
• Set up RTK corrections on a Raspberry Pi using a GNSS Flex system
• Connect to an NTRIP service and confirm an RTK fix
• Make a portable GNSS setup using batteries, a touch display, and a vehicle rated antenna
• Create and export a custom map using QGIS
• Import a custom map into Pi GPS Client
• Visualize real time RTK position data on a map
• Log and review high precision location data
• Demonstrate centimeter level accuracy in a real world mobile test
This build is ideal for robotics, mapping, surveying, and any project that needs high precision GNSS positioning on the go.
