Ace Pro 2 Fogging Issues: Real or Overblown? 🤔 There have been some rumblings online about potential lens fogging problems with the brand new Insta360 Ace Pro 2 action camera. Naturally, I was curious and decided to put these claims to the test myself. In this video, I share my direct experience and the results I've observed – and so far, I haven't been able to replicate any persistent lens fogging on my Ace Pro 2.
This leads me to wonder: was this perhaps an issue that affected only a very early batch of cameras, and has Insta360 already addressed it through manufacturing adjustments or firmware updates? Or could the reported fogging be attributed to other factors that are easily overlooked, such as ensuring the lens is completely clean before each use? I even specifically tested the camera while recording at a higher frame rate of 60fps, anticipating that the increased internal heat generation might potentially trigger moisture condensation if the camera wasn't properly sealed or if the lens wasn't securely attached. However, even under these conditions designed to potentially induce fogging, my tests have come up clear.
So, what's the real story behind the Ace Pro 2 fogging reports? I'm really keen to hear about YOUR experiences. Have you encountered any instances of fogging or moisture buildup on your Insta360 Ace Pro 2 lens? Please share your insights and observations in the comments below! 👍 Your feedback will be incredibly helpful for others considering this camera.
