Version 7.0 of the ACE Guide is out. This update brings the FAA Aviation Weather Handbook current (released April 13) and adds two major new tools to help you prep for flight.
What's new in v7.0:
Preflight Briefing Guide (page 2 of the main menu) — a self-briefing companion with ~14 curated links to weather and briefing websites, plus the full preflight self-briefing checklist pulled straight from AC 91-92.
TCDS Menu (beta) — type certificate data sheets for common training aircraft. Let me know which ones you'd like added next.
STC How-To Guide — a walkthrough on how to find a supplemental type certificate.
Updated Weather Handbook reflecting the FAA's latest release.
CFI ACS links — Fundamentals of Instruction Tasks A, B, and C now have interactive links throughout. Tasks D, E, and F are coming in v7.1.
Refreshed menus as part of an ongoing usability and visual update.
