"Fictional" means fictional inside the realm of the Ace Attorney world.
Mask☆DeMasque is considered fictional because there is no actual person called “Mask☆DeMasque.” Ron is the actual person who plays the role of Mask☆DeMasque, much like how Will Powers plays the role of the Steel Samurai. This logic applies to a few others as well.
