So a little over a year ago I put all my sanders away in a box to see if I could cover all my sanding needs for a year just using two sanders - the #Mirka #Deros 150/5mm random orbital, and a Mirka #Deos orbital or ‘palm’ sander. These are my findings - and to make sure my judgement wasn’t clouded by potential long-term ownership, I’m giving these two sanders away, details below.

I bought a new air scrubber for the workshop recently, and in this video I tell you why I bought this one, and we get to hang it on the ceiling. Also, mains cables, again. Yay!
For clarity, I refer to this unit as British made when what I meant to say - and actually said many, many times - was British manufacturer, but the one good take was the one where I mis-spoke. I dont actually know where this is made - Id speculate china, same as everything else - but if its something that concerns you deeply then check with Record Power.
Also note that Im talking specifically about the Record Power AC400 unit - I have no direct experience of the alternative units, but links are provided below so you can check the specs yourselves.
Record Power AC400 Workshop Air Scrubber basic specs: 14Kg, 430 x 260 x 510mm, 3 speed, low - 60dB, med 63dB, high 67dB, remote control included, 1, 2, and 4-hour timer run-on as standard, 1.8 metre fixed mains cable (boo!) 5 and 1 micron filters, easily accessible and changed without tools. Full fixing kit included. I paid ~£170 delivered and have to be honest didnt look too closely at the alternatives because this seemed to tick all the boxes at the right price, was in stock and available when I was ready to buy. As always, I can only comment on the unit I purchased and my direct experiences with it, be sure to do your own research before spending your hard-earned! 👍

We live in a Victorian terraced house in London and earlier this year me and Mrs 10 minutes decided we needed a new kitchen; a few months later we’re in the middle of the largest building project we’ve ever taken on, and in this video I explain what we’re doing and why, and how much of this might be coming to the channel over the course of the next few months.
No, I’m not turning into a house-bashing or DIY channel - I’m completely hands off on this project, other than supplying ideas and money, but I thought there may be some interesting videos to be made from a customers perspective and my initial ideas are:-

In this video it’s my pleasure to introduce the next generation of the 10MW Loose Tenon Jig, the LTJ30
If you don’t know the back story I did a video about a DIY loose tenon jig a couple of years ago, it took about six months to wrestle a flat-pack cnc version of that jig into production and a second larger or Plus version of that jig followed about a year after that.
This new version combines the simple functionality of the original jig together with the shelf-pin goodness of the Plus jig, but in a new material and using a more readily available 30mm guide bush, hence the new name - the LTJ30.
Most of the first run has already sold but you can preorder at 10minute.shop, or on the ‘merchant shelf’ directly below the video.
