Accidental Easy Listening perfectly captures how this little playful piece of music emerged. Beginning with an experiment focusing on the new Qu-Bit Electronix Chord v2 controlled by the Winter Modular Eloquencer, I found a melody that pushed towards this mood. Adding dirty percussion from the ALM/Busy Circuits Dinky’s Taiko, samples in the Make Noise Morphagene, and running everything through a circuit of modules including Intellijel, Mutable Instruments, Cwejman, TipTop Audio and so on, and this piece was ready to be shared.
