Just a quick video shot on my phone in response to dB Electronics' video. I cut a data line (D7) on the bootleg cart, inserted a 470ohm resistor in series and measured the current across it during operation.

CRT scopes aren't the best under phone camera conditions, but 15mv peaks are visible during data writes to the cart (bank writes and ram access) This equates to 30microAmps being consumed on each data or address line. Completely safe.

It's also interesting to point out the GBC's bus is detached completely from the CPU during its internal RAM access or IO. The cart bus is not shared with any other peripheral, only the cart. This differs to the Genesis and NES, refer to dB's video for info on them.

I think there is miss communication here, I'm not calling out dB, some Everdrives can be a risk to use. Bootlegs on the other hand are not, at all.
