In The Sage's Buried Secret, when Kidd jumps and the wooden bridge gives way, do not jump into the pit. Instead, face the left wall and grab onto the large, thick vines and roots stretching across the wall. Shimmy and jump across the root system to reach the other side. Step onto the suspended stone platform; your weight acts as a counterweight to open the nearby door.
This video also covers the statue puzzles you encounter in the Mayan Temple.

Completing it rewards you with PCC Level 3 which lets you develop pre-upgraded level 2 structures. This is on Brutal difficulty with an S rank.
