Abyssus is the newest major attraction to open at the Energylandia theme park in Poland. It’s part of a new world in the park called Aqualantis, which also features the family boomerang roller coaster Light Explorers.

Abyssus is a modified version of the shockwave layout of launch coaster made by Dutch manufacturer Vekoma. Unlike a lot of their older rides however, it is thoroughly modern and incredibly smooth. It features elements of positive G and negative G airtime and has some classic elements including a vertical loop and a boomerang double inversion.

This review features POV on ride and off ride shots, a mapped layout and a lot more, comparing it to coasters that have similarities like Taron, Helix, Maverick, Icon and Copperhead Strike.
