I'm thinking that in the episode where Abyss is first introduced in the Kitsuneology series, Abyss gets kidnapped by a dragon that Malachite (yeah she is a despicable person!) hired and spends the episode trying to escape, and eventually does, by poisoning the tea he was forced to prepare for the dragon. Both Malachite and the dragon messed with the wrong kitsune here! (Said dragon is named Ingliss, by the way.)
The idea came from listening to Melanie Martinez's songs "Tag You're It" and "Milk and Cookies", a lot of her songs fit Abyss to be honest.
