BIG UPDATE ON LISSY! ❤️🐻
Lissy is now safe with our partners, Wildlife SOS, and is settling into her three-month quarantine.
She arrived with digestive issues, but after treatment, deworming and her essential vaccinations, she is already doing better. Her appetite is improving, and she is getting more excited about mealtimes every day.
She is enjoying bowls of porridge, fresh vegetables, vitamins and supplements, and she is also starting to explore enrichment balls filled with treats. Enrichment is such an important part of her recovery, because it encourages natural behaviours, keeps her mind active and helps her build confidence in her new surroundings. After everything she has been through, those small moments of curiosity and play really matter.
She is still cautious around people, which is completely understandable, but little by little she is starting to settle and feel safer.
