Formed in 1992 in Kirkkonummi, Finland ABSURDUS forged a distinctive sound that blended haunting melodies with blackened Death Metal intensity, standing somewhere between the darkness of BELIAL,
the melancholic atmosphere of the earliest AMORPHIS and PARADISE LOST, and the memorable riffing of SENTENCED.
Long before their acclaimed debut album "No Heaven In Sight",
the band left behind three outstanding demos that perfectly captured
the evolution of the Finnish scene during its most creative years.
For the first time ever, F.O.A.D. Records collects the complete demo era on vinyl:
- "Under The Never Setting Sun" — Demo 1993
- "Flames" — Demo 1994
- "Demo(n) 3" — Demo 1996
Complete remaster from the original sources. Comes with a full-color 16-page booklet featuring extensive band liner notes, original tape scans, rare photos and archival material documenting the complete early history of the band.
