Caine turns Pomni and Jax abstracted and transported them into the Poppy Playtime world. In this alternate reality, Caine aims to locate the concealed injection capable of transforming individuals into monsters, with intentions to dominate the world. Six troubled human souls, including the timid newcomer and series protagonist Pomni; the trouble-making rascal Jax; the cheerful optimist Ragatha; the emotionally fragile Gangle; the moody perfectionist Zooble; and the paranoid veteran Kinger, find themselves trapped in the Amazing Digital Circus. This virtual reality game is run by a quirky but oblivious artificial intelligence named Caine and his enthusiastic assistant Bubble. Sent on relentless and sometimes traumatic adventures, Pomni and the others strive to maintain their sanity and uncover a path back to the real world.

Poppy Playtime is a horror video game where the player plays as an unnamed former employee of Playtime Co. who returns to the abandoned toy factory of said company after receiving a letter from the staff who were thought to have disappeared 10 years ago. The player discovers that the factory is filled with toys that are alive and malicious towards them and starts looking for a way to escape the premises.
Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep" is the third installment of the indie franchise: Poppy Playtime.
Following the Train crash which took place during Chapter 2: "Fly in a Web", the monstrous new antagonist CatNap makes attempts at killing the player through a trash compactor before the player fortunately escapes. Alongside a new character, Ollie, our player is tasked to restore power to Playcare and the Gas Production Zone to bring an end to CatNap's reign of terror. However, there are new characters in Playcare who have been tasked by CatNap and The Prototype to track down and capture the player.
