This dark vanilla megawad continues to be a fantastic experience. Snaxalotl's riffs on the stock Doom2.wad continue to twist your expectations and offer interesting remixes of familiar urban locations. Besides darkness and efficient intensity, one other element these maps all continue to share in common is that none of them dares to outstay its welcome.

Abscission is Snaxalotls follow-up to Stickney Installation, and the first 7 maps have been released to the public. The project aims to replace all 32 Doom 2 maps, and what weve got so far is a very promising start. Vanilla Doom 2 provides a basis of inspiration for Abscission to center its maps around, but Snaxalotl makes sure the blood of these maps is still her ideas. This is shaping up to be a project to look forward to, so be sure to give it a try!
