Here is the latest entry in my vlog series chronicling my attempted escape from New Yorkistan. I finally received some potentially good news. A closing date for my house has finally (i think) been set. Unfortunately, as has been the case throughout this entire process, even such good news is quickly tempered by a Billy Mays style "But wait, there's more!"

The date that has been chosen is only 12 days away. That doesn't give me a lot of time to finish off all the things that have been placed in limbo waiting on this date. There's also the fact that the Town of Hempstead still hasn't approved the permits that we submitted months ago, and that a large chunk of the money from the sale of the house will be continue to be withheld from my family and I until the TOH finally decides to approve said permits. Ain't government grand?
