Live looping jam using Ableton and Push 2. Here are some notes on the setup - Throughout this loop, we're using the Cooper FX Exp Gen to control multiple parameters on different pedals via midi. We're sending midi CCs from Ableton that tell the Exp Gen what expression value to send to the pedals. This allows for non-midi capable pedals to be controlled with midi. In the beginning riff the Exp Gen is warping the delay time of two Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Boys and also sweeping the filter of the Meris Ottobit Jr. At 1:09 we're using it to sweep through a sample on the Pladask Elektrisk Fabrikat. At 2:34 the Signal Path Selector is being used to change the pedal order from distortion into reverb to reverb into distortion.
