I was today years old when I finally noticed this little hidden gem in Ableton Live… 🤯

💡 Save As Default Audio Track 💡

Imagine having your go-to channel strip—EQ, Saturator, Limiter, Utility—load up automatically every time you add a new track. No more setting things up from scratch! 🎶

Here’s how to do it:

1️⃣ Load up your favorite plugins & effects on an Audio Track
2️⃣ Press Command + A (Mac) / Ctrl + A (Windows) to select all
3️⃣ Press Command + G / Ctrl + G to group into a rack
4️⃣ Right-click the track and select “Save as Default Audio Track”

🔥 BONUS: Do the same with a MIDI track! Load your favorite synth, right-click, and save it as the default MIDI track.

Now every time you hit Shift + Command + T (Mac) / Shift + Ctrl + T (Windows), your custom setup loads instantly! 🚀
