Ableism in the film industry disguised as visionary "work ethic?"
The meme in the video states - Robert Downey Jr says Christopher Nolan "doesn't even really like it when you go to the bathroom but he understands you have to. I asked him "dude when do you go?' And he goes *11am and 6pm. I was like, are you fucking with me?"

It should be no surprise that the Entertainment Industry has incredibly ableist practices that prevent disabled people from participating. Many surveys report that less than 1% of the Entertainment Industry discloses that they have a disability on these (often anonymous) surveys.
There are a multitude of ways that discrimination manifests but one of them is how film sets are so physically brutal and deny any accessibility or accommodation.
People need to sit and rest periodically (Chris Nolan is also notorious for not allowing sitting). People need to use the bathroom regularly (this is documented by medical science as necessary for health). And when it comes to disability - if you can't sit and you can't sh!t, we don't get work.
These kinds of attitudes and practices need to be addressed. And it needs to come with top-down support of movie studios making sure (they don't get sued) ahem, making sure their sets are accessible to all disabilities.
