Life often feels like a puzzle we cannot solve no matter how hard we try. In John 15, Jesus offers a different way forward, not through more effort, but through connection. He describes Himself as the true vine and invites His followers to abide in Him, which means to make their home in Him, not just visit when life gets hard. Because of what Jesus has done, we are already clean and have full access to God's presence. The fruit we long for, including love, joy, and peace, is not something we manufacture through striving. It is the natural result of staying connected to the source of life. The invitation is simple: stop striving, stop hiding, and come home to Jesus.
