In this great episode of Burbex - Brin's Urban Exploration, Brin proves that even when he's on holiday, in the middle of a Coronavirus outbreak, he's still dedicated to bringing his fans the very best urbex in China.
Hainan is famous for being a tropical paradise, but fewer people know about the submarine base under the southern most part of the island. Two massive tunnel entrances lead out into Steel Oven Bay, where the vehicles were built.
Brin risks his neck to swim across the bay and take a look at the gates. Guarded by vicious cactuses and with a nearby naval base, this might be an epic disaster waiting to happen.

In this daring episode of Burbex, Brin is joined by Senzuri as they explore an abandoned police station just outside Shanghai, China. The police station looks like it shut its doors just yesterday, so the explorers are feeling a little bit nervous as they sneak past the holding cells to interrogation rooms, and finally make their way up to the surveillance room where the cops used to be able to keep an eye on the whole area. The duo also finds uniforms, endless boxes of cameras, as well as x-rays of someones skull, and even a box containing h####n, c#####e, e#######y, and other class A substances.

In this epic episode of Burbex, Brin and Senzuri push hard to the heart of an abandoned power station built in Shanghai in the 1950s. The pair soon find that electricity still runs through the power station, and discover gigantic generators, objects that look like UFOs, and an control room that looks like it comes straight out of Chernobyl.
Brin talks about having regular urbex dreams, the difficulties of retro-fitting power stations, and of course there are plenty of pop culture references from Tron to Chernobyl, and The Shape of Water to The Day The Earth Stood Still. The only question that remains is whether the pair make it out alive once they set off the alarms.
