Deep in the Italian countryside, we found the abandoned palace of a man named Leon, a noble lawyer whose family had lived here for generations. We found it exactly as he left it: doors wide open, wine still on the tables, his wedding photo still resting on the desk. For more than forty years, no one has touched it. The painted ceilings are fading, the grand bedrooms are frozen in time, and every room still holds the life of the family that walked away and never came back.

But the real story is Leon himself. From going through his court files, we found out he was no ordinary lawyer, he defended the people no one else would touch, the drug lords and the murderers. And then, sometime around 1978, he vanished. No body. No answers. Some say he was murdered; nobody knows for certain. Come inside with us as we explore one of the most beautiful frozen palaces we've ever filmed, and try to piece together what happened to the lawyer who disappeared.
