Sitting just off the coast of Vandenberg Space Force Base is an abandoned oil platform named Hidalgo. There are likely several reasons the structure still remains even though it's not in use anymore but it makes for an interesting sight that not many people get to see. No trespassing signs and cameras are on the structure still so the only legal way to film it is from a boat or drone.
