Rebecca Brownlie is an avid fan of photography and an avid fan of documenting the past. In 2022 she published Abandoned Ireland. It proved a very popular buy. Two years late in 2024, she published Abandoned Ireland 2. It also has sold well. Will there be an abandoned Ireland 3? I suspect there may well be.......lol
On Fathers Day this year, our eldest son Connor left me this second volume by photographer, urban and rural explorer and historical researcher Rebecca Brownlie.
I was well pleased.

Rebecca introduced herself by saying,
'Rebecca Brownlie grew up in a small rural village in Co Down Northern Ireland. She traces her passion for photography back to when she was 12 and won a camera on a TV show called Sussed. From that day a camera has barely been far from her side. Her passion for abandoned buildings and love for photography have never left her.'
