I was out a week ago in search of abandoned Iceland spar Crystal mine and Garabaldi gold mine at a place called Lionsville Australia. I had the maps I had the gps , I had me boots on but I came away with nothing to show but a hole in the ground and some rocks.I thought I'd put this together to show that sometimes explores don't always go as planned and this explore was one of them. Unfortunately I lost a couple of hours searching for someone close by to inform them that I'd seen an injured bull near where I'd crossed the river but found no one and had to leave a note on some ones gate about five kms away from where I saw the bull that's how remote it is out there and it was the first house I could find.I got back to searching but the lantana was so thick I couldn't get through it and maybe a machete would have been a good idea. I was up and down creeks and gullies and hills and dales and around trees and ZIP! All I go for my troubles was some rocks and the hole that I couldn't see into properly anyway. I'd planned on camping the night but rain was starting to close in so decided to call a stop to the explore for another time. At least I know where not to look next time and I'll also see where that track up the hill went. Anyway, this is just a behind the scenes video of when things don't pan out when out exploring .
